After many years of conceptual existence, Take No Damage was officially born in early 2007 in response to the impending apocalypse. Their music is a seamlessly eclectic style often referred to as "poppy-electro- folk-death-hop", which is really just a stupidly longwinded way of saying that they're hard to classify. Classifications aside, Take No Damage march happily through the end days to the soundtrack of their imminent doom, and the apocalypse has never sounded so good. them together into a unique whole that pays tribute to the band's influences while forging a new sound."

Less than a year after the smash hit debut of "Mushroom Clouds & Silver Linings", Take No Damage returned with another EPs worth of noisy pop songs. Too catchy for the weirdoes, but too weird for everyone else, "Shambles" manages to be both challenging and extremely accessible, often all at once. The sound is an ever-changing mix of both live and programmed drums, guitars, bass, synthesizers, samples and vocals, all wrapped up with various levels of fuzz and ambient sound. From the indie-rock by way of decaying technology on "Future Warfare" to the psychedelic pop of "Friends", Take No Damage covers an amazing amount of sonic ground through the course of this 8 song EP. No matter how strange the sounds get, however, the band never strays too far from the pop songs that are always at the core of their music.
